I use a Bonade ligature and a 5RVlyre13...I HIGHLY recommend this combination. I found that the Bonade was an incredible improvement after playing a Rovner for several years.

Fobes San Franscisco mouthpiece, generic metal ligature, occasionally a shoelace if my ligature isn`t working with the reed I have on.

I play on a Buffet mouthpiece(the one my B-12 came with), a $2 ligature from the local store, and Rico reeds strength 2.0. Many say I have a decent sound.

Michael Lomax `Symphonie`mouthpiece, Bonade classic ligature- Don`t be fooled by the simplicity of it, nor the low price- more money does not determine a better sound or combination- I highly reccomend this ligature.
