Making E, Eb?

In Honours band, we were given a sheet of music by John Williams (Hymn to the Fallen), transposed to the key of Bb for the Bb clarinet. Anyway, in the midst of the sixteenth-note frenzy, we are sent down into our low-low E ( don`t know the technical name for this - it`s the first note on this chart: http://www.woodwind.org/clarinet/Study/FingeringCharts/chart1.gif ), but the problem is, Bb calls for Bb and Eb. I was wondering, what is the fingering to make that E flat? I didn`t think it was possible, as I`ve been looking at fingering charts online and the lowest they go is E.

It is not possible as far as I know to get down to a low Eb on the Bb Clarinet. It might be possible on a clarinet in a differnet key.

I didn`t think it was possible - thanks for confirming my beliefs.
I`ll have to check with the director to make sure it`s not a mistake in the print.

Well, the only way you can do a low Eb is if you have a special clarinet. I know that the Amati brand of clarinet has a low Eb key. And they`re in Bb. I wouldn`t bust my butt trying to get one of those though. (sorry, this was just for info...)
