Oh, Gawd..please tell me it`s fixable

My daughter is a first year band student who plays clarinet. (Bundy, not wood) She has a bad habit (which I have reminded her of many many times) of leaving the horn out put together and going back to it later. Tonight, it slipped under the covers of her bed and she sat on it.

It broke in half where the 1st and 2nd joints meet. The cork on the 1st joint is still intact, but that`s where the 2nd joint broke off. The silver ring is still attatched to the cork..it broke away from the 2nd joint and cracked off some of the clarinet which is still attatched to it.

This so does not look fixable. Does anybody know if it is and if possible, does it cost a whole lot?

Theres always one...

Check with your local music shop. I`m sure many an instrument has been sat on. I`ve had my flute footjoint sat on and got it fixed good as new.
