 Hi
I just bought me a holton collegiate model clarinet because I wanted to try it out, I already play saxophone but noticed that there is quite a difference in grips and mouthstance, could someone give me some tips and does anyone have a table in wich I see what to do with my fingers (griptable??) to get what note? Its a bohm system..

Oh and last but not least, does anyone know anything about the instrument? Its a Frank Holton & Co. Elkhorn.Wis Collegiate nr.230707.

Sorry, I can`t help you out much, but maybe cheack out www.woodwind.org it might have some stuff that`ll help you. I always thought the clarinet and sax had very similar technique, but i`ve never played sax. Anyway, sorry i could`nt help u out much.
