Urgent!!!! What is better, a wooden bassoon ora high-impact plastic bassoon

Hi,
I am looking to buy a second hand bassoon and I have found one on Ebay for an amazing price. Actually I have found two. The one is a selmer and made of high-impact plastic and the other is a maple wood body bassoon. There is one problem, the wooden one has an extremely large bell that wouldn`t fit in my Gig bag, however the selmer would fit perfetly.

The price difference is about $50, but which one do I get?
If you could reply quickly it would be great because the bidding ends tomorrow!!!!

Go with the Selmer if the other one is some random unknown brand. Good luck. Its a risking business...although I bought my Renard off eBay for $500 and all it needed was a bocal.
