I`ve played flute and tenor sax, and now I`m taking the bassoon for concert and what is up with these bajillions of fingerings, when you play fast are there problems that can occur... SOMEBODY TELL ME

Um since there`s like 9 thumb keys for the left hand... I guess you just have to practice and learn to move your fingers fast... and also if you`re playing fast, you have to have a steady airstream coming from your stomach muscles or you might squeak and honk and such.

Fingerings come second nature, high E to B can be hard notes to play in fast passages, in the beginning.
