Weissenborn books?

Im starting lessons in a few weeks, and i need the "weissenborn method" book.....on www.bn.com and www.amazon.com, it sells for around $140- but on www.sheetmusicplus.com it sells for $23....what's with the difference? i know they have the same ISBN number, but that's it? are they the same book?

i looked on amazon, it says its $23 also.

Wait a minute!!! The Weissenborn method is not that expensive. You can get a great deal on Forrestsmusic.com. They have it for 23.95 and it includes the Milde 25 studies. Get this one

yea, $23 US sounds about right. its a good method book to get.

URGH I hate weissenborn studies!!! I really really hate them. But I guess the studies are very good for your technique at the end of the day... *grumbles*

how can you hate weissenborn studies?!?!, they are so much fun to play. theres so much light and dark to be brought out. as well as they help your technique!!., better then doing scales....

Because they're really hard! Lol. I dunno, they are very good for technique, and some of them are really nice(played one for an audition once) and challenges are always fun. But I think I've just developed a hatred for studies *shrug* though you raise a good point, scales are much worse.
