I found this site about a year ago. That was the contrabassoon concerto I was talking about. Isn't it awesome?

Oh, if you go to the benedikt eppelsheim site they have more contrabass instruments with sound clips, like a contrabass clarinet and the tubax.

Just keep in your place at the back of the queue - I've been lusting after one for quite a few years now. A wonderful beast - sounds OK on the web but in the flesh it blows you away. Great to play as well.

Get a soprano to sing bass and you get the same result. It is quite cool hearing its range though
