April Mae- alto sax
Emma Lee- Clarinet
Carmen- Baritone Saxophone
Sophie- Cello (rental)
Rosemary- Cello (one I own)

well actually. we named a messed up guitar we have in our band which we need to repair or replace. He is called Billy

we called the other one mary.

i think naming you instrument helps u kinda get more attached to it *shrugs* it helped me. a school in Jackson Mississippi HAD to name theirs....i thought that was a load of bull

yes. I`ve only named my guitar though.

She has the most personality.
Her name is Janie, as in from
Aerosmith`s "Janie`s Got a Gun".
She`s a fender strat.
O, and I named my amp "precious"

My clarinet is called Clara... I`m getting a new (old) one next week which I`ll probably call Annette... (think about it). Unless it already has a name... maybe I`ll ask Claire.

Oh and my bari sax was called Barry...

I haven`t really named my Tenor or Flute... any suggestions? The tenor is generally `my bitch`...

I named my first alto Rachel, but I haven`t given it much thought since I got my new horn. I guess I didn`t feel it was necessary the second time.

If i ever got a shiny purple electric violin I would call it violet
