First off...Band Geeks are the coolest people ever on the face of the earth...now that i`ve gotten that out of the way...there is nothing wrong with naming your instrument(s)...and it is most definitely NOT pathetic...my marching trombone is old faithful, and my silver concert t-bone is my baby...and NO ONE is allowed to touch my baby without permission and strict supervision...just because there are lots of mean people out there...lol
