i agree with whoever said 3rd was easy! it really is! i am away to start 4th     can any1 give me any tips? and I really need help in 3rd position on th e string its really hard 2 read off of music like in sight reading for exams

Anyway, having your first finger on A-sharp on the G-string would be in second position. On B-flat, it would be third position.
