Hi can anyone give me some advice. I have an Otto Jos Klier violin model 68. It can with dominant dtrings but I think it sounds rather metallic. I am after a more mellow tone. I have tried Eudoxa but found them very difficult to tune (and keep in tune). Any suggestions for other strings? thanks

Hmm. Corelli Crystal or Zyex might be worth a try, or Pirastro Obligato perhaps.

I just got a set of Thomastik Vision strings, I love the sound they produce. Theyre a bit more expensive than most though.

Only briefly on a Czech violin. I did like them.
