About Me
I was born on the 12th of July 1990 on the Caribbean island, Curacao, to my parents, Darlene and Freddy. I also have two little sisters, Adaeynah and Stacey.
Throughout my childhood I was always considered happy, hyper and very energetic.
I started singing before I could even talk and performed in front of a crowd at the age of three for the first time.

Being a daydreamer and a bit much on the ADHD side, I always had difficulty paying attention in class and would usually much rather be creative than study. I also had a nack for adventure, and finding things out for myself.

I started to write songs at age 7 and later I taught myself to play the piano and the guitar as well, since my short attention span wasn`t going to allow me to sit through any music lessons either.

I spent most of my childhood at the horseback riding club next to my house, where most of my "life adventures" took place. The best and the worst in my life all happened right there.

While not being very much encouraged to continue doing music besides singing in church every now and then, this fire inside me gave me the push I needed to do things that I never thought I could.
And in 2008, after I had graduated from High School, my life started to make an enormous bend that eventually led to a crazy decision that I had to make in little time.

I had been performing, writing and recording for years on Curacao, and after having won an international online singer/songwriter contest and having written about a total of 40 original songs, Jean-Jacques Rojer (Well known musician on the islands) offered me the help I needed in order to enter the Conservatory in Rotterdam (www.Codarts.com)
And before I knew it, on the 15th of February 2009, I was on my way to Holland for my audition. It was the craziest thing I had ever done since I had never been to Holland, and there I was on my own giving everything I had and more so I could live my dream.

Now I attend Codarts and major in Creative Producing (singer/songwriting) and have reached a total of 105 original songs. Life is great. And I know that without God, this wouldn`t have been possible. I am truly blessed to be here today.

Love,
Chrissy
