I found a few on that Indianamarching site. It was pretty good. Rondo Alla Turca, right? (or did I find the wrong band?) I didn't get to see the whole show...

Hey sorry it's been taking me a while to write back, my laptop at home has been out :p so i'm using the one at school.
But I know what you mean. There's some section leaders around here that think they're so B.A. that they try to put themselves higher then what they really are. It was getting real bad one time that our band director called eveyone in from practice and gave us a long lesson about it. I kind of like to be that section who get's things done but not in the way where I have to be an A. abotu it, you know? I like being the chill guy who knows his stuff and can take care of his section. I'm sorry to hear that though.
Oh oh teacher is coming.
Sucks about your friend I would of got mad at mine to. I'll check it out when I have the chance

haha thats weird cause i have a younger sister in band but she's not into band as much as I am. She plays the trumpet but it's like whatever to her so i'm fine with that, her loss. Lol thats true percussion aren't really serious about band are they. I'm really scared about trying out to cause like you i tend to choke at times when i'm on the spot. I hate it :/ I'm going to try out when the next audition comes up so i'll try and tell you how that goes when i try out.

Really your parents were in marching band thats actually pretty cool. No one in my family was in marching band before. People were able to play instruments but they never marched and so I was the first one to do it. Thats probably why my parents find it kind of dumb. Well since you have a lot time till your try out i would just practice a lot cause i hear it's pretty hard to make it in but idk. I'm really pumped for trying out

Haha yeah i know what you mean. Lol there's some kids at my school who want to try out for revolution/crossman. Lol what's funny is that they said the same thing. We were all talking one time during class about how cool it would be if many of us joined the same group or lol if we all made up the group, which is a definite no for happening. It's cool though, that you wanna try out for so many groups; i would to but i don't have the money for so many camps. My mom doesn't care if I try out anymore after what happened today :/ but my dad is on the edge. Haha it would be cool though if we both made it into the same group.

Haha i know what you mean. I'm still trying to convince my parents to allow me to try out with them backing me up cause they just think i won't take it seriously :p I was thinking about trying out for either Revolution or Crossman, but i'm not sure :/ It's kind of hard to chose.

I was supposed to see wicked last winter, but never went. We were in Chicago when Michigan (the road our hotel was on) was shut down) and no vehicles could enter or exit. It was super rediculous cold out and I didn't want to walk!

yesterday was the last day for fresh man band camp. i section was told that we have the best section and my section has never had such a good qualitty sound. and my section is also the best at marching im so proud of them. so what you been up to

I love Wicked too! I went to see it in the city twice because I loved it so much! The thing was though, they were selling these cool alcoholic Slurpees at the door in a light up, green martini glass and I thought they were so cool... my friends wouldn't let me get one though cause' they knew I'd just wave it around in the dark the whole time and distract everyone.. yeah, I'm that annoying person in the row up the back who won't shut up.

It's in northern indiana. I live not to far away. It's an interesting little place that I like to take visiting relatives and friends to. The whole town is amish-mennonite, and everything in it is about their culture and way of life (maybe not the waterpark...I'm not sure how they fit that in!!)Anyway, I grew up here so it seems normal to me, but everyone else thinks it is crazy!

sorry that i havent been able to talk. yeah i was so excited when i made section leader because i had to go againstmy old section leader who is know drum major. we had to play some warmups that mr ricketts made and the better player one section leader. then i had to play against his little brother who was an more equal chalange, the old section player was rel good, then i beet him and got it

Big city? Well...it's really not that big, haha. I guess it is compared to Clay City though. Kaysville (that's my town's name) is a suburb of Salt Lake City. Salt Lake isn't terribly big either, as far as big cities go...it has about 180,000 people, whereas Indianapolis has about 7 times that, lol. But we did get the olympics in 2002. I remember going to watch figure skating with my second grade class. Fun stuff.
Oh, and you asked what it's like to live here...well, it's not that exciting, really. I go to school, hang with my friends, and play baseball. Theres some nice things to do in the downtown area of Kaysville, like go to the movies and the ice cream shop. And there are concerts at the local water amusement park every week. Anyway, what's your town like? I've never lived in a small town before.

I googled Clay City to find out where you were from, btw. It said your population was like, 1036? Wow! My town has 22,000 people in it. I'm no stranger to really small towns though...in central and northern Utah we have several farming towns.
