About Me
Piano teacher for 25 years in Southern California, and now in Lucas, Texas (Dallas Metroplex). I have a M.M. in piano performance and pedagogy form California State University, Fullerton. I'm teaching about 35 students from age 5 to 82. I'm active in my local Plano MTA, Texas MTA, and MTNA as a certified teacher. I also belong to American College of Musicians, and the National Music Certificate Program. I believe in challenging my students to the world of possiblities when it comes to music. "Music Is for Life" is my personal motto.
In addition to performing, I am interested in teaching Music Theory, music history, church musicianship, composition and improvisation, jazz, and the main styles of music per historical music periods. I use a computer lab with various games and activities to encourage all these skills.

I am also passionate about my computer and all its possibilities, my grandchildren, reading, and my latest passion, painting.
