Hello, I am a sophomore in high school and have been in band for about three years now. Music is my passion, and I am a dedicated marching band member as well as jazz band member. My main instruments I consider to be is the bass clarinet and the tenor saxophone. I started on the Soprano B Flat Clarinet in the 8th grade, then moved to high school and played that throughout my freshman year. However, for marching band for sophomore year, I played the alto saxophone, given as I`ve had jazz experience with it. This year, I play tenor saxophone for the jazz band and plan to march it my junior and senior year, as well as play the bass clarinet for the wind ensemble at my high school. I came up with the term, "saxinet player" since I cannot choose between the clarinet and saxophone, since I love them both equally.
