Misirlou (or Miserlou) is a traditional song from the Eastern Mediterranean region. The song was very popular in Greece from the 1920s but may have Turkish or Egyptian origins. In 1962 Dick Dale made a 'surf rock version' which was huge hit and later used in the film Pulp Fiction.
