Holy God, We Praise Thy Name (original German: Großer Gott, wir loben dich) is an ecumenical church song by the German Catholic priest Ignaz Franz in 1771 as a paraphrase of the Te Deum, a Christian hymn in Latin from the 4th century

Holy God, we praise Thy Name;
Lord of all, we bow before Thee!
All on earth Thy scepter claim,
All in Heaven above adore Thee;
Infinite Thy vast domain,
Everlasting is Thy reign.
