We've changed the layout on the forum homepage, doing away with the 'recent posts' list and instead offering easy links to the sub-categories in the forum.

The forum as a whole seems to be developing into a number of quite distinct sub-forums with each sticking by and large to their own section, so it seemed to make sense to cut out the scroll down to find your own forum and just present a list of categories on the home page.

Any thoughts and suggestions welcomed.

wow i loved the layout before hand... I like to see recent posts from all forums not just my major instrument, in my opinion you should change it back

we've added the recent posts back in, just lower down the page - hopefully making for the best of both worlds.
