I`m a bad kid - I haven`t played my sax all summer. But marching band camp starts Monday, so I decided to get it out and look through the music. The first thing I noticed, is that my tone sucks! I`m playing on nice reeds, Hemke 3.5`s. But I start playing and my tone was all FUZZY. I don`t know what to do. I`ve had this problem since 5th grade. It`s gotten better since getting a new sax (yamaha yas-52) and a new mouthpiece (selmer c*), but it`s back now.
