Does anyone know where to get the sheet music for "A Song For Friends" by Larry Daehn for free? Or does someone have it that they could possibly scan and send to me? It would be very much appreciated!

I have a flute part, and it`s pretty boring, yes. Well the flute has like 16 bars of rests in the beginning... I`ll maybe scan it if anyone wants it.

OK, I`m not quite sure what part you wanted or if you got it yet or not but here:

This is the 1st Trumpet part (I Think...it just says Bb Trumpet at the top but it might`ve got cut off...anyways if there is a 1st Trumpet part in that version, this is it cause I always get 1st Trumpet parts). I`m not sure why you want it...I`d have to agree with everyone else, I personally hate this song and find it incrediably boring...but hey, who I am to critisize your tastes? Anyways, have fun with it

I played A Song For Friends in grade 9 band, and I have to agree, it was pretty boring. Not to mention the fact that a grade 9 band is just not capable of making art of a piece like that, so it didn`t sound all that great. I`m sure it`s a beautiful piece, but that`s not how I remember it...

Grade 9 band? Really? I played it in grade 7, 8, 9 mix band (I was in grade 7 at the time) and I think we did it fairly good considering it was a mix band. It`s really not that hard of a song, IMO.
