i think the video is saddest when you watch it the second time... the first time the realization that he gave her his eyes comes too quickly. If you watch it again, then you know what the guy is going to do, and you know why he is leaving her.. thats the saddest part then, imo, him calmly packing up his stuff and going on one last ride on his bike before he gives his prized motorcycle away to some stranger.

i dont understand the part about the magazine at all, though

The magazine part: The Guy`s assistant comes to the beauty salon to show thr girl that the picture that the guy accidentally took of her at the beggining of the video made it to be a magazine`s cover. The same picture is the one the guy (already blind) has at the end of the video, and the one the wind blows away, so the girl catches it and gives it back. Its cute and sad how he cant see but still holds the photograph, that must have given him off about his still loving her after all and his "im-gonna-save-you-by-leaving-myself-blind" plan. Really touching Video indeed.
