Hello there. One question that I am very curious. Is so different to play a Gold flute if you compare to the tone of a normal flute, Silver platinum. My flute costs 600 Euros and it sounds well in the 1 and 2 register, but I`m not happy with de high register. I almost imposible for me to get a soft High G. I think that it is technicque, but I have read some comments in the Web about more expensive flute that the Higher register is easier.

Thanks, Jose

Hey, their shouldn`t be a difference between a gold and silver flute, all flutes do have a little bit of a different sound but not much. Getting really high notes soft is hard.. it just takes practice, but still don`t expect it to be as soft as a piano B flat on the middle of the staff, might be possible but hardly. mmm I dont` know if a more expensive flute would make a difference.. I`ve never heard of that. Good luck!!!
