Okay The trumpet and the tenor saxophone are in the same key: b flat. Your best bet is, if you want to be sucessful, is to choose one instument, either the sax or the tenor, and work with it. Then find someone else who plays the other instument and work together to understand each others instruments. ONLY LEARN ONE INSTRUMENT AT A TIME. After mastering that instument then you may go on to another instrument. If you do otherwise, your brain will become too confused. Dont give up... Good luck!
