i`d like to start to learn to play the oboe, and i`m on a budget. i know someone who could help me refurbish an oboe, so the condition doesn`t really matter, but the price does. if anyone has an old decrepid oboe willing to sell for £100 or under, please e-mail me at rebecca.dewey@student.manchester.ac.uk - any condition considered.

unfortunately, condition really does matter on an oboe. I play oboe, and let me tell you, they are very tempramental. It might be better to rent one in a better condition, than to buy one in not such a great condition. I got mine from a company called David Weber if you are interested. -although I wouldn`t recommend their reeds.
