I`m having trouble with some rodents, though I believe they are oboe afficionados. A family of mice has moved into my oboe case, and there are 5 babies already. I don`t want to disturb them, but I have taken the oboe out, at least. So, where can I get a new case ... anybody? I have never seen just a case for sale. Also, I have cut a blanket just the right size, and am wrapping my oboe in it, tying both ends. Would there be a problem transporting my oboe while it is fully assembled? Might the joints loosen somehow? And do field mice make good pets? I already have a turtle, no cats! Sorry to bother you, but this forum does not have any link to instruments and animal issues, and this is the second problem I have had since the end of the Chatterbox forum. What next!!!??? Thank you.

your oboe is a valuable instrument. So get a durable and good oboe case for it. The least expensive oboe case is for sale at around $40 at woodwind and brass
