Bolsa Grande HS, GArden Grove, CA. Our theme is Russian. It`s really cool cause the music is written in really flat keys, so it`s dark and creepy. But, I mean, it`s nothing really exciting. Except, the drum feature is awesome!!

yo, im from pennsylvania, and we too are doing minimally speaking, everybody, i hope u realize this, but if u read the package the music comes in, it says the grade level for this music is for grade FIVE, and theres only one version of it, no simplified versions for younger players! and somehow miraculously our band from Blue Mountain High in Schuylkill Haven PA is going to pull it off in the USSBA Group 2A Circuit Championships and be the 1st place finishers AGAIN

The music for minnimally speaking ISN`T fifth grade level, it`s much more complicated than thhat, belive me. It`s almost college level.

its not college level though, i checked all the info, the guy who wrote it works for the cavaliers, which is the best drum corps in the country, and drum corps are of ppl ages 16-21, he wrote it as sort of a work to prepare people who wanted to apply for the cavaliers, but it was said to be a bit easier than waht the cavaliers do, so it was written for middle/high school students, teh grade five thing was a misunderstanding, grade is difficulty, grade 1 is about 4th/5th grade students level and it goes up to like 10th-11th grade and grade 6 music is grade 11, grade 5 is grades 9 and 10

I`m not in high school anymore, but my sister is in the band I was in last year, and I`m so mad I`m not in the show! It`s an Indiana Jones themed show, with the Indiana Jones theme music, some funk remix of that, Sabre Dance (woo trombones!) and the song from Deliverance. It`s going to be so great-- they`ve got someone playing Indiana, someone playing Marion, and my friend Amanda is the "vilain"! Ooh, jeez-- wish I was there!

Odd... our marching band doesn`t have a "show." But then, we don`t compete in anything other than parades. We go on trips, do tons of parades, do halftime shows, and pep band things, but no competitions where we have to have themed shows.

I wonder why.
