I am selling a headjoint and I get all sorts of scammers reply, so I thought I would have some fun with one of them.

My timely response will be appreciated as soon as possible..Thanks..."

KATE:
"What do you want it for? "

SCAMMER:
"Hello,

Thanks for the mail and the response ASAP,I really appreciate it a lot.I need this item for my Flute,so kindly get back to me ASAP with your last price for this Nagahara flute headjoint and the present condition of it so that the payment can be remitted to you ASAP.Await your quick response ASAP.Thanks.

Smith..

KATE:

"What kind of flute do you play?"

SCAMMER:
"Hello,

Thanks for the quick response ASAP.The kind of Flute I play is Organ.Do you kindly get back to me ASAP with the last price and the present condition of it.Thanks."

Smith..

KATE:

There is no such brand as Organ. Can you sent me a picture of your flute? I am only asking to make sure that my headjoint will be able to fit your type of flute.

SCAMMER:
Hello,

Thanks for your mail once again.I want to let you know that ii don't have any pic of it now, and I really appreciate your concern that you really want the headjoint that will fit my Flute.Let me have your last price for this Headjoint so that we can proceed on this transaction.Await ypur quick response..

Smith..

KATE:
"Well if you can't get a picture of it, then I can find out by using the serial #. Please give me the serial # off your flute. That will help.
Also, what kind of riser would you like added on the headjoint?"

SCAMMER:
Hello,

"Thanks for the mail. The serial number of the Flute is BH89456703.You can just let me have a good riser on the Headjoint.Hope all this is clear to you.Await your quick response.Thanks."

Smith..

KATE:
"I need to know what kind of riser though because we are all different. Also, I need to know what size of barrel your flute is. "

SCAMMER:
Hello,

"Thanks for the mail ASAP.I want to let you know that like I said earlier in my mail, you can let me have a good riser on the Headjoint and the size of the barrel of the Flute is Size 4,so kindly get back to me ASAP with your last price,I really appreciate all your kind gesture in ensuring that I have a very good Headjoint .May God Bless you.Await your response.Thanks.

Smith.."

KATE:
"What do you mean by it is a size 4?"

"Yesterday I had a craving for cheese cake like something else! You see, I had band practice and I thought I would stop and pick up the cheese cake on my way to band. But then I realized that I needed more time to eat it. It would have been hard to try and eat it on the way to band and driving too. I put the headjoint on top of the hood of my car so I would not forget to take it to band. When I drove off to go and get my cheese cake I forgot it was on the hood and I drove off and ran it over. It still plays though. So you do you still want it?"

SCAMMER:

Hello,

Thanks for the mail.Like I said earlier,I will buy the Headjoint. So kindly get back to me with your last price for this Headjoint.Await your quick response.Thanks.

Smith..

KATE:

Okay, but I just wanted to make sure you still wanted it even after I ran it over with my car.

I think my headjoint has a good riser....And I am pretty partial to the size 4 barrels. Any smaller than that, and the tone sounds pinched.

Why are you selling the Nagahara, though? Did you decide the Miyazawa head works better for you?

I am selling it so I can upgrade to another Nagahara with a gold or platinum riser and maybe a gold lip. At the time, all I could afford was the silver model, but I really like the one with the 14K riser.

hahahaha! this reminds me of a myspace incident with my friend. she created a profile for her dog and someone sent it a message saying that he was having trouble with his wife and this profile picture looked very beautiful and hed like to get to know more about kimber (the dog)obviously not acknowledging that it was a dog since it was probably a bot. so he asked what her interests were and my friend replied with...snuffling, eating dog food...etc etc. and he just kept replying with things like we have so much in common we need to meet. haha. she went on with it for a pretty long time. it was funny.

haha that was so hilarious especially the address and price you gave to the scammer. the one thing that bothered me though was "Hello and thank you for the mail ASAP" that annoyed me.

It looks like the "scammer" was machine driven. Probably a piece of SW some idiot uses to annoy people.

I cannot understand why the scam-bot was so much interested in knowing the "final price" Did not make much sense to me.

And, Kara, what patience you have!
