Hi, everyone!

I read on a post (or somewhere on the 'net) that Haynes has a new head-joint that (they) are touting --- and has gotten remarkable reviews.

I can't remember the name they call it: It's Flausi, Fausi, Floozy --- or something.

Has anyone ever tried one? And is it worth (more than the cost of a new condominium)?

Just wanted to know.

Thanks: Jim

Are they collaborating with Faulisi? I tried some Faulisi headjoints at Nussbaum and I liked them better than any other I played them against.

You can buy them independently from Haynes:

"The William S. Haynes Co. is pleased to announce our collaboration with the renowned headjoint artisan Salvatore Faulisi. Each of the Faulisi headjoints are beautifully handmade in his Paris shop."

Thank you all for the feed-back. I now know the name of the Head-joint (it's NOT floozy).

Regards, Jim

Well, because I have some Italian in my background and because I have had my name pronounced in a demeaning way, I don't find this at all funny. This man (Salvatore Faulisi) is not able to defend himself but I would bet that he would also be rather offended. Jim, since you didn't even take the time to look at the name correctly to get the pronounciation and you can't take the time to look up the information properly on the thread, then I wouldn't try to post a name that you obviously new was intended to be a joke.

Well, Forum Members, to show you how NASTY a post CAN be from a respondent (regarding "faulisi" head-joints), here (and I'm HAPPY to provide his name: Bilbo) is HIS response.

He NEEDS to get a sense of humor. I REALLY DIDN'T know the name of the head-joint, but BOY, did he every lay it on me.

Here's HIS post. Does it get any more RUDE than this?

"Well, because I have some Italian in my background and because I have had my name pronounced in a demeaning way, I don't find this at all funny. Excuse me? Get a life. And find a forum with people as unfriendly as you --- with NO obvious sense of humor.

I NEVER posted this to your beloved Faulisi --- it was for THIS forum only. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF MY FUTURE POSTS WITH YOUR NASTY REMARKS.

Jim Millen

Jim, you must bring out the best in Bilbo because in the several years that I have known him on chat forums he has always been nothing but kind hearted and never rude in anyway.
I really think that you misunderstood him a bit on other issues.

Bilbo,
I hope you are okay! I've never seen you upset like this. Is there an underlying issue?

"Is there an underlying issue?"

In this instance not any more than what you see on this thread.
