Hello All,
I've had some fun checking Wikipedia for background on some of the problems we've been having, it's quite interesting. Especially some of the following articles:

Internet Troll:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll
Internet Sockpuppet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_sockpuppet
Flamebait:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flamebait
Internet baiter:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baiting_%28Internet%29

I believe all of the above apply here to a greater or lesser extend.

The following bit from the Wikipedia article on Internet baiting I found interesting enough to quote here:
"On Internet forums, baiting is sometimes used in attempts to empty forums or reduce a forum's usage. This type of baiting is usually done to make the atmosphere of a forum appear unpleasant or to make forum owners, moderators and long-time users look foolish. A person using this kind of baiting may post comments to elicit rude responses from prominent members of a forum, thus making the responding member or members appear as trolls or flamers to bystanders. As a result, forum users in general may become disgusted and leave the forum."

All of which leads me to believe that (difficult as it may be) the best thing to do is to completely ignore this idiot, except maybe to alert other forums that are being goaded by him.

I'm sorry if this is old hat to everyone, but I thought it merited posting,

Regards,
Leporello
