I just wanted to know, has anyone ever played this piece? I absoulutly love it. Its so sooth and flowing. I hope that a young artists preformance comes to town so I would be able to play it for people. My favorite part is when you start on page five. It is SUPER fun to play, really gives you better technicality. Its te first piece I have seen that actualy goes down to a low B. To bad I dont have my new flute yet so I cant go down there.

SOON THOUGH!!

it is a fun piece, I have a student doing it now for all state audition in new york...one can play it with a cfoot as well, although the low b is fun..just be sure to practice with a metronome, I have heard so many students in classes and lessons go all over the map with the rhythm...

Doppler's Fantasy is absolutely my favorite flute piece, and indeed, I think I love that piece more than any other music that has ever been written for any instrument. Period. Most of it is waaaaay above my ability level, but I love to play the less demanding parts and my goal is to someday be able to play the whole thing. (If I live long enough, LOL!)

I dont really want to bring a dead topic to life again, but here I am (a victim of flood) and i have a ruined flute solo part. and i was asked to play this with my old high school band as part of a concert at the end of the month. I still have the piano part but some of the notes are smudged together (thank you flood) and a bit of mold all over it. the edition i have is no longer printed. i was wondering if someone could help me deciphering the notes i have missing. message me to help!!!
