I don't know if this is allowed or not, but i would like to know if anyone has a spare b foot to their flute?? (I know, a little weird...)I used to only want one, but now I NEED one! In our schools symphonic orchestra, we are playing a song that has a low B!!!! (dun dun dun DAAAHHH![sorry])! But if anyone has one, id happily purchase it! Thanks.

that's right Annie, that is what I was thinking, many use a plastic tube, or just play an alternate note..

I'm not sure...I'll ask my director when i next see him. And how does the whole plastic tube thing work?? I don't understand the whole losing a note thing.

Does the low B occur during a solo or other exposed part? If not, just skip it, or play another note that works harmonically (e.g., low D, D#, E, or the first octave B if it's not part of a run)

Are there any low C's nearby? If so, adding the extra tubing on the end isn't going to work.
