Hi all, would like to ask if its normal for the silver plating on the flute to look "scratched"....I wouldn`t really say that its scratched, but there are lots of lines in relatively random directions all over the flute after I wiped it (with a silver cloth)...and they seem to be pretty permanent....Now I am so fearful of having to wipe down the flute after each practise (using just an ordinary soft cloth)...Any advice?? =)

Dont` worry about it. It`s normal. The only way you`re going to keep a new flute perfect is by not taking it out of the case. Jsut take care to avoid big scratches and dents. Clean your flute and play it carefully. Be careful, but don`t be afraid of it!
