The repertoire for solo flute is very extensive! I suggest you visit the Fluteworld website (www.fluteworld.com)and look at their sheet music catalogue to get some idea of what's available.

You should check out www.jennifercluff.com
She has repertoire lists for different skill levels there.

I can understand your whole situation. I had looked for flute solos all over. No one seems to carry them anymore in MI but I did find a titanic solo music for flute at Meyer Music in Holland, MI

i realy like air on a g string (is free on here)
