Hi guys-

I haven't been here in a long LONG time.

Having decided that I am no longer in a position to be playing my flute, and needing the space I am clearing out my sheet music collection. I have a reasonably large collection of music for flute, mostly around ABRSM Grade 8 standard. I also have a number of piano books (ABRSM grade 6-8) I want to sell asap.

The flute music collection includes such things as the Mozart flute concertos, Piazolla Tango Etudes, Enesco, Faure Fantasie. There are four file boxes sitting on my desk at the moment.

I imagine I will be selling it for a fair amount less than I paid for it and I will have to charge from postage from the UK. If anyone's interested in knowing what I have (or buying it as a job lot!) please reply to the thread so I can make up a list.

Hi!

Sorry to hear you are no longer playing the flute.

I may be interested in some music, but I cannot buy the whole batch. Two more boxes full of anything could cost me a divorce.

Could you post or send a list of the scores that you think are most valuable or important?

From the short list you mention, the Piazzola etudes would be of interest for me. What would be the price(s)?

I am in Spain so post costs should not be so high as into America.

It's four boxes and not two... two divorces then

it might be a good idea to list each piece, with the price you want, then have those interested IM you with what you want...

like Jose, I may also need a divorce lawyer if I buy more music!

The Piazzolla I think I paid around ten pounds for, so £3-4 would be reasonable since it's second hand and has a few pencil markings (nothing you couldn't easily erase!) I think that I would be happy to sell each individual piece for around that price (or less if it was cheaper for me to buy)

If you give me a day or two to get this together I can get a list together and post it on the forum.

Yes I do. Since pretty much everyone here is abroad, that would be easier.

I will post a list in a day or two.

Do you have any books of orchestral excerpts such as the Jeanne Baxtresser?
