I'm looking for a case that can hold more than one flute. Right now I'm just stuffing the cases for my flutes into a backpack, which works, but it's kind of awkward. Are there any special cases that can hold, say, two flutes instead of just one?

Thanks!

try fluteworld.com, check out the altieri gig bags. they usually can hold several, my fav brand is TUMI, they are well made and versatile, but pricey..

I have a nice brown leather-covered french-style case that holds two flutes. It has a fleece-lined nylon cover with carrying strap and pocket for tuners, metronome, etc.
I find that I don't use it much and I could sell it if you are interested, pm me.

i keep seeing ones with piccolo pockets, but you could get two gigbags(like the ones that fit over the jupiter cases) and sew them together.

BAM make sa bassoon case that you could easily put your flute in the outside pockets.
Along with your bocal case, music, etc.

thanks John
I will look into that.

As for the original post, are you looking for a gigbag that fits both a flute cas and piccolo case, or something along the lines of a pro pac case style- one that has indents to place your piccolo in with indents for a flute along side it?

<Added>

by a pro pac style case I mean something like the ProTec PB308PICC Flute / Piccolo Combination Case. If I remember I think there is one on ebay right now, but I have never actually tried one. Some say plain old gig bags are better, but I haven't owned enough cases to tell the difference.
