Has anyone played/ compared the two models and can comments on the differences between them I am looking at a 10 year Demedici alto which is about the same price as a new Jupiter, both silver plated.

some of the differences are cosmetic, such as french pointed keys, but if it's an older demdedici, it might have soldered tone holes, which is good..

The left hand position is also different. The Jupiter has the left hand farther away, which might cause discomfort for some. I prefer the placement of the keys on the DiMedici, which is closer and (to me) more comfortable.
