I think Nagahara used to post a price list here:
http://www.nagaharaflutes.com/sales/pricelist.html

Now, it says to contact them for a current price list:

H.Js around 1,600 British Pound in London, (TVA included, less for export) silver .95 with white gold riser 18K;
around 1450 with 14K gold riser

Bodies (less HJ) start at about 8,000 B.P, silver.95, at same site.

At N. factory USA, 1950 USD HJ .95 silver with 14K gold riser.

Nagahara has increased their prices significantly in the last 12 months. (from 1450 to 1950 US$) in less than a year. They must be doing very well, I guess

I think the price of precious metals has gone up significantly in the past year. Gold hit an all time high recently of over 1000 US Dollars an Ounce. That might be part of the reason for the price increase.

I do not think the price of gold has much impact on the silver HJ. Neither cah have silver price.

They increased the price about 33% in less than a year. The HJ may have just a very few grams of gold in the riser; i.e it's only the blowing edge and psrt of the riser wall that are made of it.

The complete HJ weights 90 grams (3.15 ounces), crown and cork assembly included and is made of .950 silver.

These data is just for curiosity. One should be prepared to pay the price the artisans ask at any moment. Or buy somewhere else.

Sorry my sight is not good today:

cah = can
psrt = part
