Seeking repertoire for the flute with string orchestra

Seeking repertoire for the flute with string orchestra 20:26 on Saturday, November 27, 2010

I have been contacted by a few flautists who would like to play with my baroque/classical string ensemble. I am seeking intermediate works for this purpose. We generally do not have other winds with the ensemble, only strings and harpsichord/piano so this excludes many works.

Any suggestions appreciated

Telemman Suite A minor
Vivaldi Concerti, op 10
many 18th century concerti by Naudot, Quantz, Loeilliet, etc

I suggest Bach's B minor suite, particularly the Polonaise, Minuet and Badinerie movements.

I believe Dutilux (aprox spelling, sorry) wrote one. Not sure what the strings would think of it. Come to think of it, did you ask the strings anyway?
