I think I have an older Bundy flute and am wondering if anyone else has information on it.

Bundy (older Logo - only has one line around the Bundy)
Reg. US Pat. Off.
SELMER (not the script version it is in all in caps)
Elkhart, Ind
The number on all three pieces is 1327

My mother bought it for me from a Pawn store in the early 70's. They said it had belonged to a jazz artist who had pawned it. <Who knows if that was true>

Just wondering what the history is.

Thanks for your Help!

bundy instruments were very popular among beginners way back when, there were probably thousands sold, and most manufacturers wouldnt keep good records if any at all of their student level instruments.

it doesnt seem like a pro jazz player would use a student bundy flute, and then pawn it

any info on this specific bundy flute was probably lost to time...since there were so many of them
