Hello,

We recently found a Artley flute that my wife had as a child. Our knowledge of flutes is fairly limited.
I was looking for any insight or information (type of flute, value, etc) that could be provided on our flute. The serial number is 116312
It is still in case and is in good condition as it has not stored for many many years.
Thanks in advance, I have attached a pic

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Ooh, you're one of the few people I've heard of with an Artley. My flute is an Artley as well. Mine is a beginner's flute, since I'm more of an oboist than a flautist, but it still has a pretty good sound. It's probably not a model you could go pro on, but it is great for starters. Mine can be in tune pretty well, and stays in good shape. Make sure you polish it, though, because it doesn't stay shiny very easily. I'm not sure if my information helps or not, but I just figured I'd tell you anyway. Again, I'm not so much a flute person.
