I once had a teacher that changed a bunch of happy sounding songs into minor keys for us to play, and dedicated our concert to a draught we were going through...that was a little weird

I'm assuming, and hoping that this thread is a joke. Band directors can be so mean to the flute section. Probably because most of them are brass players. I hope that all is okay now and this teacher is no longer teaching.

That is not a bad thing, and they are not brass players and they names for all sections
