Was it a good choice to get a plastic body,or even the piccolo?

I have played a Gemeinhardt piccolo through out my high school level and college, these are great piccolos for marching band and pep-band and the hold up better than any other piccolos. Then only thing with Gemeinhardt is they are hard to tune at times but overall I great little piccolo. Great investment.

I still play on my gemeinhardt for marching band and outside performances.
