Hi Everyone,

I am after some info regarding the Pearl ST-700 I am aware it is solid silver head, body & foot and a rough age of around 15 years but I wonder if someone knew which current model is the most comparable. This particular one has closed holes and the serial number begins with 30-****. Also in the case there is an extra bit of tubing, around 2/3 inches long does anyone know what this is for?

Thanks in advance

This same question was asked on these two other forums, you can find answers there:

As far as extra tubing, a picture would help. I would hate to think it's a part of the flute... it could be an extension (so the flute plays one note lower).

Answered on another forum for you. The other metal part is a storage sleeve for the headjoint tenon. Not really necessary.

That old post link on Fluteland is not correct information. Please do not take the info in that post seriously.
