Greetings fellow flutists. I am new to the forum and looking forward to getting to know some other flutists here.

I am posting with an unusual request. Many years back I played a Muramatsu DN (serial #30975). Unfortunately due to financial issues, I had to sell the flute and did so through consignment with Muramatsu America around 1993. For many years I have regretted this decision and have had hopes of somehow locating the flute. As Muramatsu does not keep sales records that far back, I am trying to find other ways to locate it. That being said, I am posting here with the hopes of the slightest chance that maybe someone here on the forum may have a lead to the flute. I realize that this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but nevertheless it is a tiny possibility. The flute's case cover was a leathery dark brown color (rather ugly). If anyone has any leads, I'd be grateful. I am posting on other flute forums as well. It would be a dream come true to locate this instrument again after so many years. It was truly one of a kind and there was no other like it. Thanks so much for reading.
