It took me two months to get over my braces fully... I`m not sure why that is even though I practiced a lot. It was quite hard but there`s hope in the end. I hope you have it easier than me.

I got braces on in the middle of eighth grade, and for a few days I couldn`t make a sound out of my flute. I had to change my embrochure, and I had a pretty airy tone. I still didn`t have a great tone when I got used to them, but it was okay. When I got them off, I could pick up my flute and just start playing, and it sounded better, too.
