every where i hear it is like really hard i mean yeah i kno the higher notes is hard but other than that is it really that hard?

I just started playing pic like a week agao and it has been really easy for me so far. Im using our school piccolo though becasue I dont have my own.

I played the flute and the picc when I was in highschool. The picc is harder than the flute, but only because you have to get to such a high octave. Just like when you learned the higer octaves of the flute, it just takes practice. You`ll get the hang of it.

It is not that hard.Do not listen to people like that,do not not try it because you think it is hard.The piccolo helps.

Thats sort of messed up... Saying not to try something just because its hard. Well was flute hard when you first started? Yeah, it was. I know it was. Picc was the same way.
You can do anything you set your mind to. If you really want to play piccolo then go for it.

If you think the piccolo is easy you`re playing it wrong.

Sure it`s hard to play in tune with a good tone, but if we all ran away from a challenge, where would the world be?

I do not think that picc is that hard because I have been playing flute for a little over a year now and I was able to try the picc in the last two weeks of the school year. By the end of the school year I was able to play just as well as playing the flute.

I have a question when you get to the high notes are the fingerings the same for the piccolo as the flute or different?
