howdy!!! i really don`t know how many flutes there are in a band but in my band there are around 16. i know that is a lot of flute players. anyways i am currently 16 i will be 17 in about a week so yeah. and by the way i live in good ol` Texas.

oh and by the way i have been playing flute for 8 1/2 years !!! and when i said "my band" i meant it from a drum major`s point of view.

my name is savannah and i have been playing for about 7 years. in the smaller schools there are usually about 16-20 flutes in band. right now there are 14 in my high school band. but hopefully we will get more next year since only 3 flutes are leaving this year. i am 16 soon to be 17 years old and i live in the boring state of ohio

Hi! In my band is 8 flutes I`m going to the school music in Warsaw (Poland) And I have personal group where is 4 flutes We are very harmonious

Hi! Im 17, been playing the flute for almost 8 years now. We had 17 flutes last year, now its down to 9!!! Our poor section. But still the best in the whole band!! I live in South Africa, by the way.

In my band there is about 15 flutes in my period, about 15 in the next. So there is about 30 flutes, and all periods put together there is about 250 people. How many people are in your band? Kate, tell me about this school in Poland. when I was in Poland there was not a school I knew about that was "music".

i usually practice 15-10-5 minuets before i go to school,(it matters how soon,or late i`m ready)
Then after school i try to come home and have a real practice.

i`ve been playing for 10 years and i`m 16. I look forward to studying music in college and hopefully getting a professional orchestral job like my teacher. Good luck to you and your english is really good

as for the amount of practice. about 3 hours a day and on mondays 4 with symphony rehearsal. i`m a geek
