Hi all. I am a BMUS student at a small Christian university in Canada, and I`m going to my last year and preparing for a solo recital. I`m hoping to perform the Krommer clarinet concerto in Eb Major, the Bernstein sonata, Schumann`s Romances (Originally for oboe)Penderecki`s 3 miniatures and possibly the Vaughan Williams Vocalises. Do you know of any good recordings for these works? Any suggestions would be appreciated. You could also tell me whether you think the level of these pieces is sufficient for a 4th year recital.
