we dont double tounge... we can flutter tounge.. and sometimes that is our alternative. but there is rarely a time where its necesary. we basically have to train our articulation to be even at higher standerds then those who can double tounge so we can keep up.

Mendi Clarinets actually do double tongue.... but this is rarely used! my teacher showed me and she can even triple tongue on Clarinet.. so Yea clarinets can double and triple tongue! and flutter... but because my teacher also teaches flute it makes it easier to learn double and triple tonuging on clarinet!
